We convert all videotape formats to DVD. If you're not sure what kind of tape
you have, just bring it to the store and we'll identify it. Here's a few of the most popular:

All videotape to DVD transfers include a
master copy (in Red case), a copy to watch (in Black case),
thermal print on the DVDs, and a cover that shows the
running time and photos of the beginning of each 5 minute
chapter point.
All work is performed on site and original materials will
be returned. |

Includes the transfer of up to two hours of video to a master
DVD and a backup copy on DVD (two DVDs total).
Do you have HDV or other HD formats?
We can transfer them to Blu-ray.
A note about recording speeds:
Many tape formats have different recording speeds that decrease the quality
of the recording and increase the recording time. For example the VHS format
has an EP setting that triples the recording time. If used, this makes
a 2 hour VHS tape last for 6 hours and a 30 minute VHS-C tape last for
90 minutes. |

What is Time Base Correction
(TBC)?
We use Time Base Correction (TBC) for all analog tape transfers.
TBC works by sending the video signal into digital memory
and then outputting it in perfect time over a regenerated
sync pulse. As each frame of video passes through the TBC
equipment, the color, hue, and tint are also adjusted to boost
colors in “washed out” video or dull down the
reds that often “bleed” in older footage.
